Most “deals” roundups list whatever is on sale. These are the best tech deals Australia this week that survived our price checks โ€” every price verified at Australian retailers (checked 22 October 2026 unless flagged on the row), every claimed discount audited against real street prices, every pick honestly judged. Some are genuine bargains; some are traps dressed as discounts, and we name those too.

Disclosure, stated plainly: our site-wide affiliate toggle is switched off, so we earn no commissions on any link here โ€” not a cent. Nobody pays to appear, and nothing is shaped by a payout. Read our affiliate and advertising disclosure for the full position.

How we check prices (and what “verified” means)

Each product was checked against 2โ€“4 Australian retailers โ€” The Good Guys, Bing Lee, Kogan, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Myer, Kitchen Warehouse, Domayne, Joyce Mayne and official AU brand stores. Every price carries a checked-date stamp, with published end dates where they exist.

Two policies set this roundup apart. First, we audit “was” prices: if a retailer’s claimed RRP doesn’t match recent street prices, the verdict says so with the real maths. Second, where a retailer page was last crawled 1โ€“3 days ago rather than opened today, we flag it on the row and re-check before each weekly refresh. Flash sales that die within hours are excluded. (Amazon AU isn’t a price source we can check in our browser, so this week’s tech deals Australia roundup covers the retailers above.)

The best tech deals Australia this week: 12 verified picks

1. Ninja Swirl NC701ANZ โ€” $269.99 at Costco AU (members)

The Ninja Swirl soft-serve maker (NC701ANZ) is $269.99 delivered for Costco members โ€” $279 off the $549 RRP, a genuine 51% discount (checked 22 Oct 2026). The Good Guys lists it at the full $549, Kitchen Warehouse at $499.95. The promotion ends 25 October 2026 โ€” three days left. Verdict: BUY, with Costco access. Wider picture: our Ninja Creami vs Breville Smart Scoop verdict.

2. Sony WH-1000XM6 โ€” $578 at Harvey Norman

Sony’s flagship noise-cancelling headphones are $578 at Harvey Norman (checked 22 Oct 2026) โ€” $120 off the $698 RRP, with Joyce Mayne matching at $578. Both show stock. The XM6 rarely discounts this far outside major sales. Verdict: BUY. (Don’t confuse it with the old $578 Bose price from an ended sale โ€” see below.)

3. Dyson V15 Detect Absolute โ€” $748 at Dyson AU, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Bing Lee

The Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is $748 at Dyson’s own AU store, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and Bing Lee (JB Hi-Fi $749) โ€” $501 off $1,249, 40% (checked 22 Oct 2026). Four retailers at the same price means a coordinated Dyson promotion, not a fluke. Verdict: BUY โ€” 40% off a current flagship with local warranty. For the full cordless picture, our best stick vacuums Australia 2026 guide ranks the V15 against five more current picks with live AU prices.

4. KitchenAid Artisan KSM195 โ€” $597 at The Good Guys

The Good Guys has the KSM195 in Spearmint (Colour of the Year) at $597 (checked 22 Oct 2026) against a $949 RRP. Myer has Blue Salt at $629; KitchenAid’s own AU store sells it at $649 โ€” so the honest maths is ~$52 below the official store’s street price, not the $352 the banner implies. Verdict: BUY.

5. KitchenAid KSM70 Bowl-Lift โ€” $999 at Bing Lee

KitchenAid’s bowl-lift KSM70 is $999 at Bing Lee and $999.95 at Kitchen Warehouse (checked 22 Oct 2026) against a $1,249 RRP โ€” about $250 off, with The Good Guys at $1,057. It’s the heavy-duty pick in our best stand mixers Australia guide, built for dense doughs the tilt-head models strain against. Verdict: BUY โ€” a genuine 20% off a current model, not old-stock clearance.

6. Kenwood Chef XL KVL4100 โ€” $398 at Bing Lee

The Kenwood Chef XL (KVL4100) is $398 at Bing Lee, $399 at Domayne and $399 at Joyce Mayne (all checked 22 Oct 2026, all in stock). CHOICE has listed it at $799 โ€” roughly 50% off, about $401. Three majors within a dollar means the price is real. Verdict: BUY.

7. Ninja CREAMi NC300 โ€” $276.95 at Kitchen Warehouse

The Ninja CREAMi NC300 is $276.95 at Kitchen Warehouse (checked 22 Oct 2026) against a $500 listed price โ€” about $223 off. Telstra has it at $299 and The Good Guys at $349. Verdict: BUY. Read our Ninja Creami vs Breville Smart Scoop Australia verdict before deciding if the format suits you.

8. Sony WH-1000XM5 โ€” $399 at JB Hi-Fi

The previous-gen Sony WH-1000XM5 is $399 at JB Hi-Fi (checked 22 Oct 2026) against a $649.99 RRP โ€” $251 off, in stock. At $179 less than the discounted XM6, it’s superb value without the latest chip. Verdict: BUY โ€” the smart-money headphone pick.

9. Kenwood Titanium Chef Baker XL White โ€” $587.95 at Kitchen Warehouse

Kitchen Warehouse has the Baker XL in white (KVL65001WH) at $587.95 (checked 22 Oct 2026), advertised as 44% off a $1,049 RRP. Honest maths: Kenwood’s own store sells it at $649, Bing Lee at $598, The Good Guys at $599 โ€” so the real saving versus street is about $61, not $461. Still the cheapest verified price anywhere. Verdict: BUY โ€” just not the “44% off” the banner claims. (The black KVL85004BK at $778 vs $829 RRP is only ~$51 off โ€” skip it.)

10. Breville Bakery Chef Hub LEM750 โ€” $438 at Bing Lee

Breville’s Bakery Chef Hub (LEM750) is $438 at Bing Lee and $439 at Domayne (checked 22 Oct 2026) against a $529 listed price โ€” about $91 off. A 1000W motor, full metal gears and a double-sided scraper beater that wipes the bowl as it mixes; it earned its spot in our best stand mixers Australia guide. Verdict: BUY โ€” a modest discount, honestly priced, on a current model.

11. Dreame Aqua 10 Roller โ€” $1,294 at Domayne

The Dreame Aqua 10 Roller is $1,294 at Domayne (checked 21 Oct 2026) against a $2,499 RRP โ€” $1,205 off, 48%, in stock. Disclosure: Domayne’s site was unreachable when we re-checked on 22 October, so this is the one row in this week’s roundup that is a day old โ€” confirm the price before you buy. The only other verified listing, Techciti’s $1,799 special, is a smaller seller, $500 dearer. A “$999 at JB” price seen on 17 October no longer exists โ€” don’t chase it. Verdict: BUY โ€” one of the best tech deals Australia this week.

12. Sennheiser Momentum 4 โ€” $399 at the official AU store

The Momentum 4 is $399 at Sennheiser’s official Australian store (checked 22 Oct 2026 โ€” a page we opened ourselves today), down from $579.95: $181 off. A $306 MyMobile listing (via a price tracker, 21 October) exists, but it’s a small seller we can’t verify to our standard. Verdict: BUY at the official store; treat the $306 listing with caution.

Not deals this week: back at full price

Honesty cuts both ways. These sit at or near full RRP today:

  • Bose QC Ultra 2nd Gen โ€” $698โ€“$699 (JB Hi-Fi / The Good Guys, checked 22 Oct 2026) vs $699.95 RRP. The old “$578” price was a sale that has since ended. Wait.
  • Apple AirPods Max 2 โ€” $999 (JB Hi-Fi / The Good Guys) vs $999 RRP. Full price โ€” a “$759” OzBargain listing turned out to be a fake-seller trap (see below). Wait.
  • Sennheiser Momentum 5 โ€” $748 (Harvey Norman) vs $749.95 RRP. Essentially full price. Wait.
  • Bose QC 2nd Gen โ€” $549 (The Good Guys) vs $549.95 RRP. Wait.
  • iRobot Roomba Plus 415 Combo โ€” $949 (The Good Guys / Harvey Norman) vs $949 RRP. A reported $679 iRobot AU sale from 1 October appears expired; Harvey Norman’s bonus e-gift card banner doesn’t change the ticket price. Wait.
  • Breville Smart Scoop BCI600BSS โ€” $479 and Sunbeam Mixmaster MXM5000 โ€” $349 (The Good Guys): both flat, no verifiable discount today. Wait.
  • Ecovacs Deebot N50 Omni โ€” $1,599 (JB Hi-Fi, checked 22 Oct 2026). It was $699 at JB as recently as 21 October; today the sale is over and the price has more than doubled. Wait for it to drop again.
  • Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni โ€” $1,999 (JB Hi-Fi, checked 22 Oct 2026). It was $999 at JB on 21 October; today it’s back at the full ticket price. Wait.

The RRP-inflation honesty check

Four headline discounts deserve a closer look โ€” “was” prices in Australian retail are more art than science:

Kenwood Chef Baker XL White: the “RRP $1,049 โ†’ $587.95, 44% off” banner uses a real RRP, but Kenwood’s own store sells it at $649 โ€” the price most buyers would actually have paid. Real saving versus street: about $61. Cheapest price in the country, but the “$461 saving” is mostly theatre.

Ecovacs Deebot N50 Omni: the “$1,500 off the $2,199 RRP” headline leaned on the October 2025 launch anchor all along โ€” and the deal itself has now ended: $699 at JB Hi-Fi on 21 October, $1,599 today. A standing reminder that a huge RRP gap says nothing about whether today’s price is good. At $1,599, it isn’t.

KitchenAid Artisan KSM195: the $949 RRP is genuine, but the official store already sells it at $649. The Good Guys’ $597 is ~$52 below the official store’s everyday price. Good โ€” not the “$352 saving” the banner implies.

Kenwood Chef XL KVL4100: the exception that proves the rule. CHOICE listed it at $799, three retailers sit at $398โ€“$399, and the maths is clean: roughly half price, honestly earned.

Marketplace and grey-import watchouts

Three listings we investigated and deliberately kept out of the best tech deals Australia this week top 12:

Roborock Q7 Max+ at $599.98 via Big W: we opened the page today โ€” sold and shipped by a marketplace seller, not Big W direct, with grey-stock and warranty questions to match. Watchlist only. If you’re set on Roborock, our Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro vs Saros 20 comparison covers the genuine flagships.

Sennheiser Momentum 4 at $306 via MyMobile: a small seller surfaced through a price tracker. The saving over the official store’s $399 is real money, but we can’t verify the seller to our standard โ€” pay $93 more at the official store and sleep well.

AirPods Max 2 at “$759” via OzBargain: community comments flagged product images showing controls that don’t exist on the genuine Max 2 โ€” a fake-product trap. Excluded entirely, and named here so you don’t walk into it.

Also excluded rather than guessed: the Xiaomi H40 (no Australian retailer listing โ€” only B2B wholesalers) and the Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Ultra (no verifiable current AU price; The Good Guys lists it as discontinued). No verifiable price, no place in this roundup.

Best tech deals Australia this week: should you wait for Black Friday?

Black Friday in Australia falls on 27 November 2026 โ€” five weeks out. Our honest read on this week’s best tech deals Australia is showing versus waiting: don’t wait on the Ninja Swirl (ends 25 October), the Dyson V15 at 40% off, or the Ninja CREAMi at $276.95 โ€” these already match typical Black Friday pricing, and popular stock sells out first. Do wait on everything in the “not deals” section: the Bose and AirPods Max 2 lines sit at full RRP because retailers are holding their fire for late November.

Weekly tech deals FAQs

How often are prices updated?

Weekly, on this same evergreen page โ€” the URL never changes, but the prices and verdicts do. Every price carries its check date, and rows with retailer evidence older than 24 hours are flagged and re-checked before the refresh.

Why no Amazon AU prices?

Amazon Australia isn’t a price source we can verify in our managed browser, so we don’t quote it. The Good Guys, Bing Lee, Kogan, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Myer, Kitchen Warehouse, Domayne, Joyce Mayne and official brand stores cover the real street prices.

Do you earn commission on these deals?

No. Our site-wide affiliate program is switched off, so we earn zero commissions on any link here. The verdicts โ€” including the “skip it” ones โ€” are independent. See our affiliate and advertising disclosure for the full position.

Should I wait for Black Friday?

Depends on the product. At full RRP today (Bose QC Ultra 2nd Gen, AirPods Max 2, Sennheiser Momentum 5), wait โ€” Black Friday on 27 November 2026 will almost certainly beat it. Already 40%+ off at multiple retailers (Dyson V15, Ninja CREAMi)? Buy now; Black Friday rarely improves on a genuine deep discount, and stock is the bigger risk.

How do you verify a deal is genuine?

Three checks: the price must be live on an Australian retailer’s own page (2โ€“4 retailers per product); the discount must survive an audit against recent street prices, not just the retailer’s “was” price; and anything unverifiable is excluded and disclosed in the watchouts above โ€” never guessed.
