The Pixel 11 Pro Australia price question has a sharper answer than most launch coverage gives you, because the phone is no longer new. It went on sale here on 20 August 2026, so the August pre-order bonuses are gone, the launch headlines are stale, and what matters now is the street price: what you actually pay at an Australian retailer today, whether the Pro is worth its premium over the base Pixel 11, and whether you should buy now or wait for Black Friday. This verdict answers all three with prices checked on 31 October 2026 at two major Australian retailers.

The short version: the Pixel 11 Pro costs $1,749 to $1,849 for 256GB and $1,949 to $2,049 for 512GB, depending on where you buy it. Harvey Norman lists both tiers $100 below recommended retail price; JB Hi-Fi holds the full RRP but is currently bundling a bonus Nintendo Switch 2 console with the Pro until 9 November 2026. Which of those is the better deal depends entirely on whether you want a Switch 2.

Pixel 11 Pro Australia price: the verified table

Every price below was checked on 31 October 2026. “RRP” means the manufacturer’s recommended retail price as listed by multiple Australian sources; “listed” means what the retailer’s own product page actually shows. Where the two differ, we say so, because that difference is the whole story this month.

ModelRRPHarvey NormanJB Hi-Fi
Pixel 11 Pro 256GB$1,849$1,749 (listed, in stock)$1,849 (in stock)
Pixel 11 Pro 512GB$2,049$1,949 (listed, in stock)$2,049 (in stock)
Pixel 11 Pro 1TB$2,399RRP only โ€” no live retailer listing verified on 31 Oct 2026
Pixel 11 (base) 256GB$1,499Not verified$1,499 (in stock)
Pixel 11 (base) 512GB$1,699$1,699 (in stock)$1,699 (in stock)

Two things to note before you read anything into that table. First, Harvey Norman’s pages do not label the $1,749 and $1,949 figures as a sale, so we describe them as listed $100 below RRP, not as a discount event. The saving is real โ€” it is on the retailer’s own product page โ€” but it is not advertised as a promotion, which means there is no advertised end date to beat. Second, the 1TB Pro has no verified live retailer price at the time of writing: $2,399 is its RRP, corroborated across Australian launch coverage and consistent with plan repayment maths, but we did not find a live JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman or Google Store listing for it. Treat 1TB as RRP-only until a retailer page confirms otherwise.

One more correction, because it trips up a lot of coverage: there is no 128GB Pixel 11 Pro in Australia. Google dropped the 128GB tier for the whole Pixel 11 range here, so both the Pro and the base phone start at 256GB. Any page offering you a 128GB Pixel 11 Pro in Australia is either listing another region’s model or working from pre-launch speculation. The same applies to the base phone, which comes in 256GB and 512GB only โ€” there is no Australian 1TB base Pixel 11.

Where to buy: Harvey Norman’s $100 saving vs JB Hi-Fi’s Switch 2 bundle

If you want the lowest outright price and nothing else, Harvey Norman wins on both stocked tiers: $1,749 for 256GB and $1,949 for 512GB, each exactly $100 under RRP. JB Hi-Fi charges full RRP on both tiers. On price alone, that is a $100 decision in Harvey Norman’s favour, and it is the cheapest verified outright Pixel 11 Pro price in Australia at the time of writing.

JB Hi-Fi’s counter is a bundle, not a price cut. From 29 October to 9 November 2026 (11:59pm AEDT), JB Hi-Fi is including a bonus Nintendo Switch 2 console with purchases of the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL, while stocks last. The console now lists at $769.95 in Australia after its September price rise, so on paper this is a far larger headline value than Harvey Norman’s $100 saving โ€” but only if you actually want a Switch 2. The bonus is pre-selected, cannot be substituted, and if you return the phone you must return the console too. Deal-hunters also report that the bonus has not always triggered at checkout on 256GB phones, with 512GB purchases activating it more reliably, so check your cart shows the bonus at $0 before you pay rather than assuming it.

Our read: if you want a Switch 2 anyway, JB Hi-Fi’s bundle at RRP is the better total-value deal before 9 November, and it is a genuine reason to buy now rather than wait. If you do not want a Switch 2, do not let a free console talk you into spending $100 more than Harvey Norman charges โ€” take the $1,749 or $1,949 outright price instead. Neither retailer had a verified outright Pixel 11 Pro price at The Good Guys, Officeworks or Kogan at the time of writing, so we do not cite them for this phone.

Pro vs base Pixel 11: is the premium worth it?

The Pixel 11 Pro Australia price only makes sense against the base Pixel 11, because the two phones share the same Tensor G6 chip, the same 6.3-inch display size class and the same seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. The premium is $250 at Harvey Norman’s listed prices ($1,749 vs $1,499 at 256GB; $1,949 vs $1,699 at 512GB) and $350 at full RRP on both tiers. So the question is what $250 to $350 actually buys.

Mostly, it buys cameras and a better screen. The Pro gets a triple rear system (50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, 48MP telephoto) and a 42MP front camera, against the base phone’s dual rear setup, plus an LTPO display and Wi-Fi 7. If you shoot a lot of zoom or low-light photos, or you crop heavily, that is a real, visible difference โ€” it is the one upgrade in this phone that shows up in your photo library rather than on a spec sheet. If your photography is mostly daylight snaps and social posts, reviewers’ consensus this generation is blunt: the base Pixel 11 is enough phone for most people, and the Pro’s premium is hard to justify on camera alone.

There is also a storage-tier trap worth knowing before you choose. The 256GB Pro ships with 12GB of RAM โ€” the same as the base phone โ€” while the 512GB and 1TB Pro models get 16GB. That matters less today than it will in year five or six of those seven promised update years, when on-device AI features tend to get hungrier. It does not make the 256GB Pro a bad buy, but it does mean the 512GB tier is not just buying storage: it is buying the full-memory version of the phone. If you plan to keep this handset for the whole update window, that $200 step from 256GB to 512GB (at either retailer) is arguably the most future-proof money in the range.

For context on where the Pro sits in the wider flagship market, the same “is the step-up worth it” logic applies to Samsung’s range โ€” our Galaxy S26 vs S26 Ultra verdict works through an almost identical premium-versus-base calculation โ€” and to Apple’s foldable experiment in our iPhone Duo Australia verdict. The pattern is consistent: the base model is the value pick, the Pro is the camera pick.

Outright vs plan: what the monthly figure really costs

On a plan, Optus lists the Pixel 11 Pro 256GB at $51.36 per month over 36 months in device repayments, which totals $1,848.96 โ€” effectively the $1,849 RRP, spread out. That is the handset cost only: your monthly plan fee sits on top of the repayment every month, and you are tied to that telco for three years unless you pay out the remaining device balance. The same shape holds at 512GB (around $56.90 per month over 36 months, totalling the $2,049 RRP) and at 1TB (around $66.62 per month, totalling the $2,399 RRP).

So a plan does not make the Pro cheaper โ€” it makes it monthly. The honest comparison is: $1,749 outright at Harvey Norman today, versus roughly $1,849 in device repayments over three years plus 36 months of plan fees. Unless a telco is offering a device discount, bonus or plan credit at the time you buy โ€” and none was verified as live for the Pro at the time of writing beyond the standard repayment structure โ€” outright wins on total cost, and it leaves you free to switch to a cheaper SIM-only plan. Plans make sense if cash flow matters more than total cost, or if you genuinely want the telco’s bundled data and perks. They do not make sense as a way to save money on this handset.

Pixel 10 Pro owners: upgrade or skip?

If you already own a Pixel 10 Pro, this is an iterative year, and the review consensus reflects that: better AI performance from Tensor G6, brighter screens, a lighter and slimmer body โ€” but not a generational leap. Nothing in the Pixel 11 Pro’s price or feature set makes a 10 Pro feel obsolete, and with seven years of updates on both generations, your current phone is not running out of support. The exception is if your 10 Pro is on a 128GB tier and storage is pinching, since the 11 Pro starts at 256GB โ€” but that is a storage upgrade you could also solve with cloud storage or a cheaper phone. For most 10 Pro owners, the right call is to skip this generation and let the 12 series, or a discounted 11 Pro later in 2027, do the convincing.

Buy now or wait for Black Friday?

Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, with sales running through Cyber Monday 30 November, and it is about four weeks away. The honest position is that no Australian Black Friday Pixel 11 Pro price exists yet โ€” anyone quoting you one is guessing. US early Black Friday listings have shown the Pro discounted overseas, but US prices are not Australian prices and we do not convert them here.

That leaves three genuinely different buyers. If you want a Switch 2, buy before 9 November at JB Hi-Fi: the bundle is verified, it ends before Black Friday, and there is no reason to expect Black Friday to beat a $769.95 console bundled free. If you want the cheapest outright phone and do not care about bundles, Harvey Norman’s $1,749 is available now with no advertised end date โ€” but Black Friday is close enough that waiting four weeks costs you nothing if you are not in a hurry, and a deeper outright cut is plausible. If your current phone is broken or failing, buy now at Harvey Norman and stop reading buying guides. Waiting only makes sense when waiting is free, and a broken phone makes it expensive.

For the wider sale season, our best tech deals roundup tracks verified Australian offers as they land, and the Click Frenzy 2026 guide is worth a look for how event pricing actually behaved this week โ€” the Frenzy Main Event ran 27โ€“30 October and produced no verified Pixel 11 Pro deal, which is itself a useful data point: this phone’s price has barely moved since launch, and the JB bundle is the first meaningful sweetener.

Methodology and what we did not claim

Prices in this article were checked on 31 October 2026 at Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi product pages, cross-checked against Australian launch coverage from Finder’s Pixel 11 series pricing guide, GadgetGuy and reviews.org for RRP confirmation. We did not use Amazon AU, we did not convert any US price to Australian dollars, and we did not repeat two claims that are circulating but unverified: a supposed $849 Pixel 11 Pro deal, which deal-verification coverage found no retailer, sale window or region for, and pre-launch aggregator pages still describing the phone as “expected” with unofficial prices. Pre-order bonuses from August (watch and earbuds bundles, store credit) are treated as expired unless a retailer currently lists them. If any price above has moved by the time you read this, the retailer page wins โ€” check before you buy.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Pixel 11 Pro Australia price right now?

As checked on 31 October 2026, the Pixel 11 Pro costs $1,749 to $1,849 for 256GB and $1,949 to $2,049 for 512GB. Harvey Norman lists both tiers $100 below RRP; JB Hi-Fi charges full RRP. The 1TB model is RRP-only at $2,399 with no live retailer listing verified.

Is the Pixel 11 Pro worth $250 more than the base Pixel 11?

It depends on how you use the camera. The $250 premium at Harvey Norman’s prices ($350 at RRP) buys a triple 50/48/48MP camera system, a 42MP front camera, an LTPO display and Wi-Fi 7 over the base phone. Heavy photographers and zoom shooters will see the difference; daylight point-and-shoot buyers mostly will not, and the base Pixel 11 is the better value for them.

Does the Pixel 11 Pro come in 128GB in Australia?

No. Google dropped the 128GB tier for the whole Pixel 11 range in Australia. The Pro comes in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB; the base Pixel 11 comes in 256GB and 512GB. Any Australian listing for a 128GB Pixel 11 Pro is not an Australian-ranged model.

Is it cheaper to buy the Pixel 11 Pro outright or on a plan?

Outright is cheaper in total. Optus device repayments of $51.36 per month over 36 months total $1,848.96 for the handset alone โ€” effectively the $1,849 RRP โ€” before plan fees, which are charged on top every month. Harvey Norman’s $1,749 outright price beats that total before a single plan fee is counted. A plan only wins if cash flow matters more to you than total cost.

Should I buy the Pixel 11 Pro now or wait for Black Friday 2026?

If you want a Nintendo Switch 2, buy before JB Hi-Fi’s bundle ends on 9 November 2026 โ€” it is verified, it beats anything Black Friday is currently promising, and it will not be there at the end of November. Otherwise, waiting until Black Friday on 27 November costs nothing if your current phone works, since no Australian Black Friday Pro price exists yet and a deeper outright cut is possible but not promised.
