New robot vacuums, stick vacuums, washing machines, dryers and cleaning tech hitting Australia. We cover what’s genuinely better, not just newer.
Quick verdict The Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCyclone was Ecovacs’ flagship robot vacuum when it hit Australian shelves in September 2025 — $2,999, 19,500Pa suction, a self-washing roller mop and the first bagless auto-empty station. Our first look, a year on: at full price it never made sense next to the newer X12S, but the street…
Quick verdict The Roborock Saros 20 is Roborock’s flagship robot vacuum in Australia — 36,000Pa of suction, a 100°C hot-water self-cleaning dock and an 8.8cm threshold-climbing chassis. The official RRP is $2,999 — and as of 8 October 2026, that’s what it costs at every major retailer: the ~$1,995–$1,998 street deals at The Good Guys…
Quick verdict The Dreame X50 Ultra was the robot vacuum that made legs cool. Launched in Australia at $2,999 in early 2025 with the world’s first retractable robotic legs — little limbs that lift the bot over door thresholds up to 6cm high — it was Dreame’s flagship of flagships. Update, 8 October 2026: the…
Quick verdict The Roborock F25 Ultra Steam Gen 2 is the follow-up to one of 2025’s most impressive wet-dry vacuums — and the upgrades target the two things owners complained about: not enough steam, and not enough runtime. Unveiled at IFA 2026 in Berlin, it lands in Australia from October 2026 at RRP $1,599. The…

For that you get 28,000Pa suction, a self-washing roller mop with real-time clean-water separation, a full auto-empty/wash/dry base station, and obstacle climbing that borders…
Quick verdict The Dreame Aqua20 Ultra Roller is the first robot vacuum to bring steam mopping to the category: a 180°C steam boiler built into the robot, feeding a wide AquaRoll roller mop that hits sticky, dried-on messes steam-first, then hot-water mops over the top. It’s $3,299 in Australia — the same RRP as Dreame’s…
Quick verdict The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow launched in Australia at $2,499 — Roborock’s first robot vacuum with a roller mop instead of spinning pads. A year later, the price has dropped hard: Big W has it at $1,371.75 right now — the only live buyable price we’ve verified (JB Hi-Fi’s old $1,044 sale…
Quick verdict The Ecovacs Deebot X12S OmniCyclone is the new flagship robot vacuum in Australia — $2,999, on sale since 17 September. It pairs 27,000Pa suction with a self-washing roller mop, a bagless auto-empty station and a certified anti-mite carpet chamber. Our first look: at the same $2,999 as the X11, the X12S is simply…
Quick verdict The Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai is Dyson’s first robot vacuum that also mops, and it’s on sale in Australia now — $1,999 at Dyson AU, though we’ve seen it for $1,899 at The Good Guys. The AI stain-detection is genuinely clever, but CHOICE’s lab tests found it terrible on carpet and underwhelming at mopping….
