Aussie Benchmarks: Robot Vacuum Published Specs Compared

Every robot vacuum launch arrives with big numbers: suction in Pascals, thresholds climbed, mop water heated. The problem is that every brand prints those numbers its own way, in its own article, under its own test conditions — so side by side, they are almost impossible to compare. This page fixes the layout, not the numbers: the published figures for the robot vacuums we have covered in Australia, standardised into one table, in the same units, with the source of every figure named.

Methodology — read this first

ItsReleased does not have a test lab, and none of the figures on this page is our own measurement. Every number in the table below is a manufacturer-published figure — labelled “Brand-quoted” — collected from our own published launch coverage of that model. Each model name links to its launch page, and each row in the sources list under the table links to the exact coverage the figures came from, so you can check any figure yourself in seconds.

Why publish figures we have not measured? Because a standardised comparison of published specs is still useful — as long as you read it with this warning: brands do not all measure suction, obstacle climbing or wash temperatures the same way, and there is no single standard test every brand follows. A bigger suction number does not guarantee better cleaning on your floors, a climb figure may be quoted for a double-layer threshold rather than a single step (where we know which, the table says so), and a wash temperature is the dock’s water temperature, not a promise about hygiene outcomes. Treat this table as a spec-sheet comparison that helps you shortlist — not as a ranking of real-world performance.

Two more rules we follow on this page: if a figure was not stated in our coverage of a model, its cell stays blank (—) rather than being filled from anywhere else; and figures are printed exactly as published — no averaging, and no silent unit conversions (the one model whose climb is published in millimetres is shown in millimetres).

How to read the blanks: — means that figure was not stated in our launch coverage of that model. We have left it blank rather than fill it in from anywhere else.

Metrics we have not published here — and why

Runtime: only 2 of the 10 models above state a runtime figure in our coverage (one of them only as an approximate “up to ~200 minutes”), so a runtime column would be mostly blanks pretending to be data. Noise (dB): only 1 of the 10 models states a noise figure in our coverage. Dustbin and water-tank sizes: our coverage mixes onboard tanks and dock tanks inconsistently between models, so the numbers would not be like-for-like. A metric joins this page only when at least four models have the figure stated in their launch coverage, in comparable form.

Models whose launch coverage states none of these metrics in usable form — for example the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro, whose launch article notes that detailed specifications were not published in the coverage reviewed — are not in the table at all. An honest shorter table beats a longer one padded with guesses.

How this page grows

When a new robot vacuum launches in Australia and our coverage states its figures, it is added here with its sources. If a brand later publishes corrected specifications and our launch coverage is updated, this table follows the coverage — the source link on each row is always the version of record.
