Quick verdict
The Ecovacs Deebot X11 OmniCyclone was Ecovacs’ flagship robot vacuum when it hit Australian shelves in September 2025 โ $2,999, 19,500Pa suction, a self-washing roller mop and the first bagless auto-empty station. Our first look, a year on: at full price it never made sense next to the newer X12S, but the street price has now collapsed โ $1,479 at The Good Guys and $1,475 at Bing Lee. At roughly half its launch price, the X11 is suddenly the value pick of the Ecovacs range: flagship cleaning hardware and no dust bags to buy, for about $1,520 less than its replacement.
✓ Buy it if…
- You want a bagless dock โ the OmniCyclone station empties into a 1.6L bin that can go up to 48 days, with no dust bags to buy
- Pet hair is your main battle โ ZeroTangle 3.0 anti-tangle brushes, 19,500Pa suction and a roller mop that scrubs dried muddy paw prints
- You are buying at the street price โ around $1,479 at The Good Guys or Bing Lee
✗ Skip it if…
- You do not specifically want the OmniCyclone station โ that is the main reason to pick this model over rivals
- Your retailer is still asking $2,999 โ walk away; it sells for about half that elsewhere
Deebot X11 Australian price and where to buy
The Deebot X11 OmniCyclone launched with an RRP of $2,999 in Australia, and at least one retailer is still asking that. The sensible money is elsewhere:
JB Hi-Fi still lists it at $2,999. The Good Guys has it at $1,479, in stock. Bing Lee lists it at $1,475, in stock. Ecovacs Australia also sells it direct online. Prices checked 22 October 2026.
That gap is the story: the identical machine differs by more than $1,500 depending on which shop you walk into. If you’re buying, buy at the street price โ JB’s own listing invites you to ask for a deal if you’ve seen it cheaper, and right now you have.
Release date and availability
The Deebot X11 OmniCyclone was unveiled at IFA 2025 in Berlin on 4 September 2025 and went on sale in Australia on 30 September 2025, at Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Retravision, Ecovacs online and Amazon. It held the flagship spot for about a year โ until the Deebot X12S arrived on 17 September 2026 at the same $2,999 RRP. That replacement is exactly why the X11 is now being cleared at half price.
What it is and key features
The X11 is a robot vacuum and mop combo built around three ideas: a roller mop that washes itself as it goes, a dock that never needs dust bags, and charging fast enough that a big home doesn’t mean a half-finished clean. Confirmed features:
19,500Pa BLAST suction. A 100W motor driving 18L/s of airflow through Ecovacs’ Boosted Large-Airflow Suction Technology. It was the strongest suction in the range at launch, and it still out-pulls most robots on sale today.
OZMO Roller 2.0 mopping. A high-density nylon roller that scrubs at 200 RPM under 3,800Pa of downward pressure, fed with continuous clean water so it isn’t just pushing dirty water around. Back at the station it soaks in 75ยฐC hot water, and TruEdge 3.0 extends the roller to clean to about 1.5cm from skirting boards.
Bagless OmniCyclone station. PureCyclone 2.0 cyclonic auto-emptying into a transparent 1.6L bin โ Ecovacs says up to 48 days between empties โ plus hot-water mop washing, hot-air drying and automatic dosing of two cleaning solutions. No dust bags means no ongoing bag bill, which Ecovacs reckons saves around $100 a year.
PowerBoost charging. GaN fast charging tops the battery up by about 6% in 3 minutes during mop-wash stops, so the robot keeps working instead of sitting on the dock. With its 6,400mAh battery, Ecovacs rates it to cover up to 1,000mยฒ in a single run โ aimed squarely at large Australian homes.
AIVI 3D 3.0 + AGENT YIKO. Structured-light and dToF navigation (no LiDAR turret, so the body stays a slim 98mm), AI obstacle recognition that steers around cables, toys and pets, and YIKO โ an AI agent that maps your home, learns routines and talks you through problems instead of flashing error codes.
TruePass Adaptive 4WD. Mechanical levering wheels deploy on contact to cross single thresholds up to 2.4cm and continuous inclines up to 4cm โ the sliding-door tracks and split-level lips that strand lesser robots.
ZeroTangle 3.0. Anti-tangle brush design aimed at pet hair and long hair, paired with a washable filter. The robot itself (model DEX99) measures 351 ร 353 ร 98mm.
Deebot X11 vs X12S: what’s actually different?
This is the comparison that decides whether the discount matters, so here it is straight:
Price: same RRP, wildly different street. Both launched at $2,999, but the X12S still sells at $2,999 everywhere while the Deebot X11 now goes for about $1,475โ$1,479. The real-world gap is roughly $1,520.
Suction: 27,000Pa on the X12S vs 19,500Pa on the X11.
Mopping: OZMO Roller 3.0 on the X12S (27cm roller, 4,000Pa downforce, 220 RPM, FocusJet stain spray and a carpet-safe roller cover) vs Roller 2.0 here. The X12S also adds an anti-mite carpet chamber that the X11 doesn’t have.
Brains: the X12S runs the newer AIVI 3D 4.0 and AGENT YIKO 3.0; the X11 runs the previous generations of both.
Same on both: the bagless OmniCyclone station concept, PowerBoost fast charging and the slim 98mm design.
The bottom line: the X12S is the better machine โ we said so in our X12S verdict. But is it $1,520 better? It does the same jobs with last-generation versions of the same systems. For most homes, the honest answer is no.
How it compares to rivals
vs Roborock Saros 20 ($2,999 RRP). Roborock’s flagship edges the X11 on headline suction and uses spinning mop pads where the X11 uses a self-washing roller. At full price it was a fair fight; at $1,479 the X11 undercuts it by more than $1,500, which ends the argument for most buyers. See our Roborock Saros 20 verdict.
vs Dreame X50 Ultra (now ~$1,279โ$1,479 on deal). The other discounted flagship, and the X11’s closest price rival. Both are strong all-rounders; the X11’s bagless station saves the ongoing bag costs the Dreame still charges you. Pick whichever is cheaper on the day โ our Dreame X50 Ultra pricing rundown tracks its deals.
vs Deebot X11 Pro Omni ($2,699 RRP). Ecovacs’ own sibling model pairs a similar robot with a bagged station โ and now costs about $1,200 more than the X11’s street price. Only choose it if you specifically want that station. Almost nobody should at these prices.
Worth it? Our verdict
At $2,999 this was an easy no โ we advised against it in the X12S piece, because the newer machine cost the same. At $1,475โ$1,479 the maths flips completely: you get a proper self-washing roller mop, a bagless station nobody else has matched, and charging that suits big homes, for mid-range money.
The caveats are real but manageable. It’s a superseded model, so expect a shorter runway of software updates than the X12S gets. Independent reviews praised the mopping and the dock, with more mixed notes on obstacle avoidance and app polish. And the spread between JB’s $2,999 ticket and Bing Lee’s $1,475 shows how wildly this machine is priced right now โ never pay RRP for it in 2026.
Verdict: at its street price of around $1,479, the Deebot X11 is the best-value flagship robot vacuum in Australia right now. Buy it at The Good Guys or Bing Lee prices; walk away from anyone still asking $2,999.
